Overview

A private editorial platform that lets Al Zubaidi & Co's team write, review and publish bilingual articles to both of the firm's websites, with no developer in the loop.
  1. 01

    The challenge

The articles on both Al Zubaidi websites had been hard-coded into the sites by a previous agency. Every new article, correction or translation meant waiting on a developer.
The firm needed its own team of lawyers and editors to publish in English and Arabic, to one or both websites, with proper checks before anything goes live.
  2. 02

    Our approach

We built a dedicated CMS on Firebase that feeds both websites from a single library. Writers draft in a bilingual rich-text editor with an SEO preview and a full article preview, choose which website each post appears on, and pick the featured articles for each site.
Three roles, author, editor and administrator, are enforced by server-side security rules rather than hidden buttons. Authors submit and editors approve; every change is kept in revision history and an audit log; deleted posts go to a recoverable trash.
Cover images are resized and converted in the browser before upload, drafts save automatically, and the whole CMS works on a phone. We also migrated every legacy article from both websites into it.

    The outcome

Since launching in August 2026, a team of six authors and editors has published and migrated more than 70 articles across both websites, in English and Arabic, with no developer involvement.
